A couple of generations ago you could have 100sqm house, a small black n white TV, maybe a basic 4 cylinder car if you were doing quite well, and be happy about it. If I lived at the level of consumerism my grandparents did, I could still d

A tanker, even empty, cannot get into the bush. Even an unprepared 4WD is often unwise to take into the bush. A few jerry cans of gas in the bed are no bother at all.

Because out in the bush there is no mains, no diesel generators, and no gas generators, so they probably regards comment as worse than useless, at a guess.

I think that's more 4 car garage than 2 or 1 car. It also has quite a tall ceiling and industrial power and ventilation hookups.

Yeah, I too live in a country that uses a fair amount of hydro. Low in service emissions are nice, but on the flip side hydro kills an insane amount of animals and permanently destroys their habitats. We have geothermal too, but nothing mak

According to wiki the Kárahnjúkar Dam took 4000 tons of steel, and flooded 440,000 acres, and presumably consumed an ungodly amount on concrete. Presumably you can't keep expanding that sort of infrastructure forever.

Why, are you paying for said jazz bar in your taxes ala the BBC news site?

How about if it merely followed links at a rate not high enough to impact the server itself, but enough to poison the analytics well as much as possible, and rather than opt sites in, it just randomly disrupts the 10,000 largest sites.

How about an opt in botnet extension for your browser that focuses it's energy on sites with this sort of dark pattern behaviour. i.e. You install the extension, when you come across a site like this you vote it for getting punishment,

Most flights are available through the airline booking systems such as Sabre. However, airlines might have flights available only on their own website at (sometimes massively) reduced cost, which needs to be booked through that site. So the

Back when we had to scrape airline websites to get the deals they withheld for themselves, residential IP was indeed the way. Once the cottoned on to it and blocked id, you'd simply cycle the ADSL model, get a new IP, and off you'

I've used GitExtensions from the start of my Git usage. I've never had to blow any of my repos away at any point. I also use things like Rebase without thinking about it, something which from what I've read on here is conside
