Would recommend reading Ben Edgington's annotated spec: https://benjaminion.xyz/eth2-annotated-spec/phase0/beacon-ch... It's not entirely up to date (none of the annotated specs are) but out of the three

I'm kind of befuddled as to why the original "Modifier functions" solution is not better than the "And now we can finally unify our getter and modify lenses into one:" solution.

Ha. This is so dumb. People can already easily link a Medium page / github gist / whatever. The reason people write threads is that people don't like to click links that get them out of the Twitter flow. Many reasons for this

Plugging the project of a friend: https://mazury.xyz/ It's web3-focused for now (and the blockchain is core to how it works: i.e. to collect certified attestations) but I think it has much broader ambitions.

They wouldn't have this issue if they allowed (but flagged for children, advertisers, people who don't opt in) NSFW content in the first place. It's allowed on Twitter, so why not on Instagram?

I remember they showed some auditor's attestations, but they're not releasing the details of the audit, just the conclusion.

The speculation in this thread is silly. While Tether is certainly opaque (you could say shady), it's incredibly doubtful that it's unbacked to a significant extent. Even if it's only backed at 50% (which would be really shoc

FWIW TodoMVC does list a vanilla JS implem: https://todomvc.com/examples/vanillajs/ It's older though (seems to have been first written 6 years ago) and has significantly more code.

Strange to see people in this thread seemingly accepting this as face value evidence that the trend is dying. For that, you'd need to also see a chart of people who have added .eth to their name. (I have no horse in this race, I had .e

What a hack article, trying to make something that's obviously a good service to many people look bad, not via hard evidence by shady insinuations, and thus failing at it miserably.

It's hard to trust a conclusion if three quarters of the argument offered in support are inaccurate. At least, it should invite a healthy dose of skepticism. Calling the author of the article "some bored duded that wrote an articl

Seems fishy to me when he says "I just sent ETH to the contract to get WETH" because this is assuredly not how it works. You have to call the `deposit` function of the smart contract (transfering ETH with it indeed). And to withdr
