Fun little thing to toy around with, for sure. :) The delay did drive me nuts, though, but I imagine that is quite a difficult hurdle to conquer with such latencies. Reminds me of doing music production work before I could afford an ASIO-ca

The signup process is fantastic. I had zero trouble whatsoever completing the registration and installing the web & desktop clients. Streamlined = good stuff. I can't tell you how pleased I was when I clicked the Facebook Connect button

That last statement might be a tad exaggerated.... I've been using Flash and Adobe/Acrobat reader for years and have yet to be "owned" through either channel, and I spend a lot of time browsing the web.

Danielle Morrill of Twilio shared something very similar to this on her blog back in June of 2010. One difference in her post is the fact that she set up different secret codes for various roommates. Link: http://www.daniellemorrill.com/20

Link to a Kickstarter project for a Vivian Maier documentary: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/800508197/finding-vivian... It has already reached its goal, but figured I'd share anyhow.

God forbid I put myself out there in an attempt to share something with the world (which is admittedly naive) and maybe let someone else improve upon an idea. I'm so terribly irresponsible.

This is why I shared it. In the unlikely event that someone find it the least bit useful, they might want to expand on what already exists (which admittedly isn't much) and improve it. All of your points make complete sense, and as I've sai

The "next page"-type behavior and more human-like searches was something I originally intended on adding but never got 'round to it. After re-discovering the code on my machine though, I'm finding myself a bit re-motivated.

Just a little note. I just pushed this to Github recently after discovering the code on my machine. I wrote this little utility a few years ago and didn't do much with it. Thought I would share the code and see if anyone else finds it usefu

Glad to see Catch thriving. It has become an app that I cannot live without. A question though. Catch has no ads in the mobile apps or on the web site, so there isn't any revenue generated there as far as I can tell. The entire product is c

Forgive me if this has been shared before, but I found it quite interesting and I just stumbled upon it via a Twitter friend. It is a musical instrument driven by a Mac computer which uses a projector to provide a table-top touch interface

I know that MediaTemple is very cozy with the design community. Other than that, I can't glean much from their web site that would separate them from other hosting providers. I am curious for any insight on this as well!
