LaTeX is not ConTeXt. Both use TeX as their layout engine. Both are different type of markup languages that live on top of TeX.

Typst is a replacement for TeX. Not LaTeX. You'd of course need to read the documentation on what TeX and LaTeX are to understand this. Most people would rather write a new system.

This is what you'd use a search engine for 10 years ago. The docs used to be good enough that there would be an example which did exactly what you needed more often than the llm gets it right today.

So what's the transaction fees to make 1e9 one satoshi payments and how long until they clear?

The root of all evil is that we don't have a functioning micro transaction network and we don't know how to build one. For the user there is no way to pay the 0.0000001c that it takes to load a web page, for the web master there i

You charge your car at night. At night the sun doesn't shine. The mix is mostly coal or if you're lucky mostly gas. This is the type of bullshit I mean by doing real world calculations.

This is something that always gets lost in these conversations. Whenever you do the real world calculation for what an electric cars CO2 profile looks like it turns out to be the same as a gasoline car unless your country is majority nuclea

Most of those technologies also need uninterrupted power supplies. Something wind, solar and batteries for the next 50 years aren't.

The point is that non-deterministic outcomes can be a solution to the problem. We are at the stage that Donald Knuth is releasing literate programs with LLM assisted proof. They aren't stochastic parrots. They are a useful additions to

Llms are non deterministic in practice. This is as meaningful as saying 'don't tell me the number you rolled, just send me the roulette".

If the price of code is zero then changing the spec also costs zero in terms of code and. This is what always was the problem with specs before. You'd write one, run it through the prover, write the code, then have to throw out the who

AI demand isn't going away. It will just move from the data center to the local machine. On device AI is much better for the customer than it being in the cloud. Expecting people to stick with a few dozen gb of hbm is going to be the &
