<thought experiment> Suppose we lived in a world where it was possible to know someone's guilt or innocence with strictly 100% confidence. Curious to know if your views would change? Note the cost of incarceration is around ~$7

Can someone ELI5 what google cache was and why it was important? Was it essentially a wayback machine alternative? People are upset about its removal; curious to understand why.

I looked on Salesforce's website for the talk, but couldn't find it (they seem to list most, if not all, other talks) [1]. Sounds a bit like what Ricky Gervais did to the unfortunate Golden Globes attendees - roasted them merciles

I also love covers and mashups, even guitar only or bass only (sometimes drums only) covers. Out of curiosity, how is YT Music different to looking up music on regular youtube? (the latter is what I do). (just spent a couple of minutes goog

Didn't know this! Although had seen the opposite: flights (/prices) listed on google that are no longer listed on the airline's site.

Google built something amazing in Google Flights [1] (and they haven't ruined it yet). It's no-nonsense, easy to filter by number of stops, and 'date grid' is great for scoping out savings by departing a day or two earli
