I totally understand your concern. It's very valid, and we hear it a lot. I may not successfully convince you of the commercial logic here, but we are making a calculated bet that a generous free offering serves our long-term interests

Candidly, we were working on other projects when accepted to YC. We wanted to build data cleaning software with LLMs, before we realized no one really cared about messy data. Part of the reason we're comfortable with a generous free of

Hey! I'm Ned, the other cofounder at SSOReady. Yes, absolutely. The code you'll write will cover all IDPs. The variation from one IDP to another gets addressed in the configuration settings for each of your customers. For example,

Yeah, I won't dispute this at all. I've spent a fair amount of time forcing myself to develop expertise in SAML ... and it kind of sucks. Any chance you'd share which libraries you used, if any? I'm really trying hard to

Yeah, we made SAML over OAuth available mainly for ease of use in NextJS. Drop me a note (email in HN bio)if you end up trying us out. Would love to see whether we're on the right track.

Glad the project seems useful to you :) Any chance you'd share what went wrong with the other libraries/services? Curious to hear what mistakes we should avoid.

Just speaking practically, the biggest reason to support SAML is that customers use it. Tons of companies still use old school Active Directory for SAML -- and aren't even quite ready to migrate to Entra (formerly Azure Active Direct

Regretfully, there's basically nothing you can do to keep crap from entering the funnel. Gating information does -- on the margin -- probably let some unknowing low-quality leads into the funnel. But low lead quality persists no matter

I think they're useful if and only if the audience expects box plots -- if it's just the convention of their field, for instance. To me, the biggest problem most data visualizations run into is that they're trying to convey

Although you guys are (correctly) focused on lawyers, I would have loved something like this in my prior career as a consultant. I don't think I ever submitted my timesheet on time

On day one of product design, we decided to track all revisions by default. As you're alluding to, I expect this will make reporting vastly easier. In traditional CRM products, seemingly simple -- and important -- tasks like calculat

Thanks for letting us know; we can probably improve that message. However, for context, we neither offer self-service onboarding nor a free tier. As someone who finds even guided tutorials annoying, I appreciate that a hands-on sale and imp

Adding another simple point: we're simply earlier than Attio by several years. Our long-term differentiation will be more obvious as we mature the product and distribution model.

Oh this is a cool idea. We've considered working on a chrome extension to help sales people pipe data into our product, but we haven't thought surfacing CRM data to salespeople in other apps.

Awesome feedback -- agreed on all counts! I expect performance and developer experience to evolve as points of competitive differentiation as we mature. We're still too early to make those claims defensibly.

Yep! Agree -- we're currently evaluating some vendors. I don't see much reason to build a bunch of stuff here if we can simply buy it. No decisions yet on who best fits our needs, so thanks for raising Carbone; it wasn't on o
