I spend a few decades in the industry and in even more teams. I think, the quality of code strongly correlates with the team's ability to articulate its members cognitive load and skills. In some projects it is just not opportune to po

I think, the web was killed before by human slob search engines can't or won't filter. Now we find out, a little longer prompt in an AI chat returns better results. So what?

I've started to finish some abandoned half-ready side projects with Claude Pro on Desktop with filesystem MCP. Used to high quality code, it took me some time to teach Claude to follow conventions. Now it works like a charm, we work on

The thought that organisms sharing environments could avoid communication appears absurd to me. Metabolic byproducts, chemical gradients, and behavioral patterns automatically transmit information. Physical proximity creates mandatory infor

I agree, frustration steps in earlier than before because AIs tell you very eagerly that unique thought is already part of its training data. Sometimes I wish one could put an AI on drugs and filter out some hallucinations that'll beco

There is still a computer involved, from an AI I expect it convinces me no program is needed and I should go walking in the forest instead. If anybody complains the AI will manage them by mail.

I'm no member of the scientific community but I fear this project or another will go beyond math errors and eventually establish some kind of incontrovertible AI entity giving a go/nogo on papers. Ending all science in the process
