For OLTP, COW is horrible. For OLAP it's usually fine. I've had good results with Postgres and ZFS with LZ4 compression.

Tensorflow's protobuf definitions actually supports naming dimensions: https://github.com/tensorflow/tensorflow/blob/master/tensorf... Too bad nothing really uses or propagates those names though.

Wind turbines can coexist with agriculture without many issues. Pretty common here in Denmark. The biggest problem with building wind turbines on land here is probably NIMBY-ism.

I think it's actually the OIDC access token and not the ID token. The OIDC spec does not mandate any structure for the access token, but letting it be a JWT isn't out-of-spec.

I recently found it useful for an approximation algorithm. Since it was an approximation, it didn't really make any hard guarantees on the output for a given input, but snapshot testing at least made it very clear when a change affecte

The "Chemical Weapons Convention" bans tear gas for use in warfare, so that could easily be considered a chemical weapon.

One reason why unordered map is slow is that it has to be a chained hash map due to the spec not allowing iterator invalidation when resizing.
