No. That's the least bad use case out of the bunch. If it stays as an option and/or the issuing organization provides the token, it's a benefit. As a password replacement, whole concept rubs me the wrong way though. Just let

~10 years ago: How horrible. Sad to see such security holes being found in our devices. Now: Nice. I wonder what kind of DRM/Anti-user feature will this break. I hope it never gets patched.

>Give me a browser that is privacy first without crypto/scam bullshit and I am all in. The Tor browser, not necessarily using onion routing is the option with the least compromises of your privacy.

Nice to see people not tolerating anti user BS. These people are doing the work of government bodies that are supposed to protect the consumer's interests against companies.

>Just curious, what is the state of the art of recommendation systems these days? Asking your friends for recommendations. In my opinion automated systems are still not nearly as good as another person knowing you and your preferences.

I could go full Stallman on every aspect of my life. I do admire his strict adherence to his own moral code. But at some point you have to realize if you are a gifted person like Stallman, with a large capacity to bring change to this world

I'm doing everything in my power to not give any money to GOOG/MS/AAPL. I would not shed a tear for YT in it's current state if it were to shut down because of revenue problems.

Microsoft should just get straight to the point and express their true feelings towards their users. I propose a kernel module that has Cortana saying "eat shit and die" on repeat on any system that disables telemetry, logs out of

My dream version is this exact form factor but capable of running games similar to pico-8 games. Something that has an MMU and can load binaries from external sources but does not necessarily run a full OS.

Basically impossible to do without docker and even then, it feels like it would be a full time job to maintain. I played around with the idea of writing a minimal version that cuts out all the fat but even that seems like a monstrous undert
