Wait? Why didn't Square increase their fee to 30%? I hear that's all the rage! P.S. Thank you Square! I will be (as always) recommending this to my family members who run their own business where a large portion of their revenue comes from

Apple, I bought an iPad because I could watch movies in Netflix and read bookmarks in Instapaper, news in Reeder, and books in Kindle. Please send each $37.50 (30% of the iPad sale shared four ways) to each developer for bringing you a cu

I completely missed the point that Amazon is charging >30% of price to publish to the Kindle. Not sure how I missed that... Still seems like Apple's "implementation" is overly broad in comparison since the iPhone is much more than an eB

Seems like the important question is whether the price per MB is a cost imposed by Amazon or by AT&T (or whoever their 3G provider is). If Amazon is inflating the delivery cost then let Apple screw them over. If Amazon is being screwed

I can definitely attest to having this type of experience. My first time trying to rent a movie was quite miserable. I first tried renting it from iTunes like I do TV shows which apparently doesn't work. I then started streaming it from the

Video is private and the text is just a synopsis of a linked article. If you actually follow to the article you will find an editorial not journalism. It uses words to imply communism and describes an awful day such as getting up at 6am, le

I think this is a good example of why the profit motive is important. Maybe they could figure out how to lower costs instead of almost tripling costs if they had some incentive.

I like that there is consistency in naming them when considering the periodic table. However, most people don't know the table well enough to know their atomic number, their classification (noble gas, halogen, etc.) nor would there be any c

Something along the lines of, "Choice only matters if your choice is one of the choices," applies. Apple wasn't offering him his choice so he bought an Android. Yet he still acknowledges that the iPhone 4 may be a better phone. His four m

Actually, what Apple said was, "...a smaller monitor with a high resolution that causes eyestrain and headaches." Imagine all the headaches iPhone 4 users are going to have.

What I've read is that as long as your plan is on auto-renew you can keep the $30/unlimited but it will not be available as a new package. In other words, if you stop auto-renew and then enable a package you will have to choose one of the t
