True, but having a single scope is more intuitive at first for people who don't have a good grasp of what a function is and are still trying to understand programming. Also processing/p5 kind of focuses on the speed and accessibil

What you might perceive as late-onset ADHD could be the cause of not being able to keep your coping mechanisms up due to stress? In my case, social anxiety (which I'm officially diagnosed with, but not ADHD) skyrocketed after a series

Is it common for open source projects to start clean with a single commit containing all the code instead of keeping the history? If author/OP are around, what is the reason for this? I can imagine one trying to hide iterations of shit

Yes! I was talking about the fcss framework and syntax proposed by the parent poster ( which doesn't have a "compilation" step for reducing the amount of unnecessary css as tailwind does )

I agree with this. I prefer explicit optional/null return types, otherwise the possibility of an error still exists but is now hidden to the caller. Langs with syntax for concise optional chaining and such fix this problem imo

Sure but only in langs wich require exception handling! Otherwise it's just hidden behaviour and explicit optional returns are better imo

Amazing! I was looking to make a very minimal triple-store based client db with lrw sync and triplit looks great. Is the underlying db using wasm SQLite in the browser? Is it open for contributions? And also any other "competitors"

Allowing unchecked exceptions in languages without explicit error handling or the return of error values is a mistake IMO! Makes it impossible to call a function safely
