Yes, despite knowing how to do it right those damn comma issues always come up at the worst time and to add insult to injury they're reported by most of the tools I have available like they're totally insoluble to the computer (ev

I'm not particularly surprised. How much do you think the long term value gained from HN has been impacted by the slow down today? My bet would be not very much at all - I doubt there are few regular users who would be deterred from co

I'm 90% with you, but I'd love them to do something to stop it being so easy to "fat finger" the hide link directly above main links when on mobile - just a tiny bit more space would work wonders.

Similar-ish but the waste aspect isn't there: each car does not come with its own gas station and most people do not own multiple redundant gas stations already.

Yes, the simplicity could be appealing but without any audio support currently, it would be a touch too far on that path for me right now (audio is on their roadmap though)

It's fascinating how empowering knowing just how safe you are can be. I used nearly this exact phrase the other day with someone who appeared fearful of a dashboard tool and once they realised they could basically do no harm whatsoever

Are there compelling reasons that these systems can't be broken into parts and then each part gets gradually replaced in turn? Clearly some aspects will be tied together, so for them it's all or nothing. It does feel like these co

It's not an idea I've explored seriously in any depth, but it seems like testing for capabilities required for a specific task might be a way to go here over actual drug tests. Thus if it's determined that people need a certa
