If anything, it's a good way to get PR. "Journalists" entertain the most banal stories as long as they're attached to name brands.

I never miss an opportunity to publicly restate just how god-awful XCode is. I think it is literally the worst developer tool I have ever come across. I don’t think I have ever heard one good thing said about it. Coming mostly from a Window

Separate point, but I absolutely loathe on-screen keyboards. They reduce my phone typing speed to literally 5% of what it used to be on my old Nokia or Blackberry. Case in point - this comment would have taken me no more than 20 seconds t

Out of curiosity, what's the justification for opposing a preferential voting system in the USA? Is it simply a case of "it would hurt my guy's chance of winning"? Or is there more principled reasoning at play? As an Aus

I don't think it's about calories, there's some speculation that artificial sweeteners still spike your insulin, messing with people's ability to lose weight. Jury's still out AFAIK though.

Counterpoint - I have an iPhone 6 that has exactly this problem. The cable doesn't get seated properly, so occasionally it stops charging or disconnects when attached to a computer.

That may be true, but every musician/smaller label I come across is saying that Spotify is killing independent music. The economics of streaming mean that the long-tail just isn't commercially viable. People no longer buy music ou

The real trial hasn't started yet (scheduled for July next year, last time I looked), so there's no winning or losing. Epic vs Google was covered in The Economist this week. It's a very big deal.
