I'm already subscribed (and I already ran the small version locally), but I'd still like to be able to quickly evaluate the models online in a couple of minutes, rather than going through the rigmarole of downloading & running

I meant worse than the market the parent mentioned (USA). Canada is definitely worse than Australia, but the gap is narrowing.

I know it might be asking a lot, but it would be great if someone could put up a HF space so I could try all the various flavours/sizes.

I came to exactly the same conclusion when looking at a far worse housing market (Australia). Promoting housing as a vehicle for middle class wealth creation will soon be viewed as one of the stupidest economic policies ever pursued by demo

Me too, but that goes to prove OP's point. Jay-walking isn't just a crime, it's basically a social faux in Germany, which is why it doesn't happen that often.

I buy 0.0001% of your company for $1000. Congrats, your company is now "valued" at 1 billion dollars!

I've been waiting for someone to put together a summary of the authorship issue, this is great. Thank you!

I haven't had a chance to use the GPT-4 API yet - is it that much better than the GPT-4 available via ChatGPT? Or am I misunderstanding?

My mother - an Australian citizen - went to school in Texas in the 60s and caused a big stir because she wouldn't recite the Pledge of Allegiance (because why would she? She wasn't American).

Generally I've always found the underlying principle behind the Australian system[0] to be a reasonable middle ground. Those making less than a certain amount can only be terminated: a) immediately for cause (theft/fraud/etc)

Some countries/jurisdictions do exactly that, and trust me, it's a massive pain in the ass. Would you really want to visit a notary just to set up an eBay account? Because that's what you're proposing. The existing syste

Echoing these sentiments - I find Swift very painful to use.

I can't talk about culture but in Australia, this definitely correlates with the spread of methamphetamine. Meth-induced psychosis is a very real thing.

I haven't tried Llama 2 yet - what specifically makes you say it's spectacular? The licensing or the model itself?

This tracks with my experience too. For the past few years, I've been using "give me the pinyin for these Chinese characters" as a rough guide for how well a given model would perform. When GPT4 was released, it absolutely n

That was the criticism - the government wanted to put the Games in rural Victoria, not in Melbourne (where all the infrastructure already exists). Bizarrely, they're apparently still going ahead with building the new stadia out there,

Ditto - I use sed/awk daily, but I never write Perl any more (though I do use older bash scripts that call Perl under the hood). I'm still comfortable recommending people learn sed/awk but I don't think I'd recommen

Devil's advocate - in this scenario you're still paying a second voice actor, so at least the "industry" still benefits. Take the humans out of the equation and it's no wonder the VAs get snarky.

Even if the stop sign does sneak up on you, the fact that the brakes didn't come on as soon it came into view is concerning. I feel like that would have ended very badly if the driver hadn't manually applied the brakes.

GPT-4 came roughly 12 months after GPT-3.5, and I'd say the competition is roughly approaching 3.5 now, so I'm hoping they will reach GPT-4 level early 2024. Not that far off! Wish there was a bookmark/remind-me function so I

In my home country (Australia), there literally is a shortage of homes at the moment. I don't think a vacancy tax would help much, but it's probably a good idea anyway.

The reasonable compromise is to heavily tax vacant properties and spend the revenue building public housing.

That does seem kind of low, but presumably LoL has reached its saturation point so there's no real room for growth?
