I think in this case you’d find all datoms via normal EAVT index and then sort the results by transaction id, dropping everything after your desired transaction.

Looks like they might be afraid of exactly this kind of black-and-white labeling

The page mentions the Log index which is sorted by transaction id. It should be enough to support as-of if I understand correctly.

From time to time landlords have to go bankrupt after taking too much leverage. If landlord’s mortgage is risk-free, it means that the landlord is leveraged at the expense of people who don’t have home — which is rather unfair economically,

Anyone remembers the app called Mailbox that was acquihired by Dropbox and killed? God, it was so intuitive, smooth, and simple, with features I _still_ can’t find in 2020 (like reordering the emails in the inbox). I would easily pay 200 US

There are also small software companies that are not VC-funded startups with flashy ideas — e.g. small bootstrapped consultancies and niche software shops. In these companies you still have to hire developers for reasons beyond excitement f

Thats a fair assumption. But I did skim to the part that attempted to address non-normality—it doesn’t. Under non-normality, not a single formula in this post holds (“standard deviation” does not exist).

I am sorry for being rude and dismissive. My goal was not to hurt you (you are obviously learning, and I respect you for that), but to warn others who might think these ideas are reasonable and lose money as a result.

One huge example is an assumption that portfolio returns are normally distributed. That’s not a minor nitpick, this invalidates every formula that goes after.
