Is the state of this still "experimental" as it was ~ year ago or so?

There's a spirograph guy in the corner, the only one left that knows perl, lurking out and trying to entice people with its merits. Long ago I worked primarily in perl and ... yeesh, I recognize maybe 30% of it when looking, and that&#

It comes periodically for me - I'll get 4-5 in a week and then months or a year will go by without one. I have manually marked a large amount of prior emails as spam, not sure how personalized the filters are.

As a general privacy rule I like stripping this by default. Couldn't you just zip up some images to retain this?

git init seems like job #1 because at least then you can delete every commented out line and start a little cleaner.

Hard to argue that having this functionality in the type itself is better than having to do so in images. It has big advantages over SVGs, as well. I can copy styled text, for example. So it's not like this would empower people to do u

That's the differentiation between propaganda and not? Sorry, that doesn't make much sense to me. Most of the "real time" aspect of Twitter is a reaction to something, often publications themselves.

I also wonder what the purpose of wrapping native PHP array mutation in an object is and what overhead that introduces. I'm with you on being kind in code reviews but one of the canonical examples of sticky bad PHP code is the addslash

I've never been a big proponent of infinite scrolling even when it was the approach du jour in the early Rails/web 2.0 halcyon days. But it can work, it's just that nobody has bothered to tinker with the concept very much. It

Well, it's a sad part of culture in 2022 - an enormous abandonment of creativity or authenticity for clicks. Even sadder that it works.

I don't think that's quite the same issue. That `a` is reassigned doesn't make it unused. It is, after all, a variable. And that's why this issue is kind of hard. It's why I end up block scoping a lot of error code

You've changed your definition. Advertising is a service, it is fundamentally no different than any other service. We may find it annoying or distasteful, but it is a natural good from natural actors in a capitalist system.
