The goal of a queue is to be empty, the purpose of a queue is to occasionally not be.

Every clunky step is a footstep in the path to something amazing. This may seem amazing but the more interesting thing is where it takes us in a year, 5 years, etc.

I don't think this would impact this too much for free file hosting unless there's a use case where people are rewriting the same file very often. With sounds more like standard git use case than file hosting abuse

It would seem very odd to not use this tool which effectively gives a huge competitive advantage over a lot of other engines, although for obvious reasons I doubt they'd shout it from the rooftops.

I hear that. But I don't think there was malice intended here. That won't stop a C&D, but it is more likely to keep the conversation open.

To be fair, I don't think the two things would happen concurrently. I have, in fact, seen this exact scenario! I don't think it's likely, but losing a domain is a small price to pay if that were potentially a goal.

To be clear, I would have been really interested in data about this, particularly if it were "rock solid" (which is a real quote, btw, not made up). But you're clearly just blowing a lot of smoke. You don't have that dat

So to recap ... there's a bevy of "rock solid" performance data but you can't link to it because it's guarded like NSA data. But you're either privy to it or just gleaned it by using your brain and not Reddit.
