Fact: if you provide no documentation and use hand-wavy terms like "some non-US companies," your speculation can sound much more like factual information.

In this case, the title is descriptive of what the product is -- it's not the typical "review our lean bootstrapped MVP" post.

In this case, I'd say the photograph would be newsworthy enough to be run all over the mainstream media, and indexed extensively by Google.

The money still goes to the labels, because of the licensing agreements they have in place.

Seconded. Braintree is probably the best vendor I've ever worked with.

The same thing happened with FM radio, the cassette tape, and the VCR. I sympathize to a certain degree with the record labels, but they're essentially just middlemen. Door-to-door vacuum salespeople were undoubtedly upset when the market s

No, as far as I know, Microsoft does not contractually obligate developers to use their tools. The .NET CLI is an ECMA standard, and there have been a few alternative languages developed for it (same as the JVM). I'm not aware of anything t

I agree with what you're saying, but would argue that if you're opening a restaurant, the steak should come first. :) In this case though, you're absolutely right.

Not to rain on your parade, but I'm having a hard to understanding how you'll undercut shipping companies. Their prices are so low because they rely on economies of scale (large trucks and a very sophisticated supply chain) and complex algo

That's not a reason to be angry at someone. If you're upset that they "sold out," go build your own. Most of us are in this to not only build cool things, but to make money .

If it's not in your contract, it doesn't exist for the purposes of law. That's good, because it means they can't take claim of any IP from your startup (which is the most important thing). The common wisdom in the US is that if you don't us

It's also very common in the US, but it's largely unenforceable unless the company can demonstrate a legitimate conflict of interest. (IANAL)

I think you're missing the point by a wide margin. Determining the difference between two articles and ordering supplies are two very common tasks -- if people with a college degree lack the ability to do them, we really are in trouble. If
