>> How does the board allow this to happen? This is the real question. I wish we could have a transcript of the discussion between treasury staff and the board on why it was a good idea to tie up cash in this way.

Numba is actually a pretty interesting project. It allows you to JIT compile a single function with a decorator. Static typing required, and it plays nice with numpy. They’ve also got some interesting stuff going on that lets you interface

As someone currently looking for the next step in my career, I can say that the job market right now for skilled labor is much better than it was even 1-2 months ago (at least anecdotally). From June - August I wasn’t getting anyone contact

So I think the biggest question here is whether, as an employee, Uber/Lyft can set hours for a driver. Some specific implications: * Will we see employees (drivers) get a say in their shifts? An employee can be asked to work a 3AM - 9A

I think the dimension you’re missing is that the a12 also consumes significantly less power. While we don’t know exact numbers, the author speculates it draws about a tenth of the power as the i7.

I’d recommend staying away from options. That said, the only riskless options/futures trade is called a “cash and carry” which essentially earns you the risk-free rate and isn’t much better than buying a treasury note. Also with intere

Surprised not to see this mentioned anywhere. In finance, we don’t look at maximizing total return but rather risk adjusted return. Buying a lotto ticket has amazing total return if you hit the jackpot but really bad risk adjusted return. T
