I'm wasn't too impress by Moodle for having used it. I also used Blackboard at my first Uni and while moodle is a step up, there definitely is some work to do. On the admin side I don't think it's any easier to manage than Blackboard. Also

Yeah I like the setup for the ML class better. You can easily make 100 in the class and all that counts is learning the material which I find much better system. And by letting you redo the assignment they get to actually see if it takes so

After the first week of the AI and Machine Language class I'm truly impressed. I feel I'll be putting more effort into this than most of my classes in college simply due to the metrics and ease of UI for the in video question. Now they shou

Go find a copy of Thinking in C++ by bruce eckel. He has a free version of it online (also volume two about the standard library). The book is getting old but I still find it valuable and he builds up from C and teaches a whole lot more of

Check out Crypto by Steven Levy for an example of large gov agencies like the FBI/NSA influencing the government. In the 90s there was a big push for crypto and the government was afraid that it would loose all ability to obtain unencrypted

Is the adobe demo playable by the public? I was under the impression that they showed a video but I can't find a way to actually try it. Until then Adobe still has to fix all the issues that the browser vendors are working on. We will have

Is Paypal considered a bank and subject to similar regulation? I find that they seem to be getting away with a lot of things that wouldn't be acceptable with other financial institutions.

I don't even think it's really possible to avoid it all, GNU libraries/compilers/... are used by pretty much everything that's not on Windows platform. You'd basically have to write all your software yourself.
