I don't know about hiking up to see the lava on Mauna Loa (I read the area has been closed off for awhile due to a likely eruption), but when I was on the Big Island during a Kilauea eruption I took a helicopter flight over the lava fl

Maybe people tip a lot more when they get a ride in a Tesla over a ride in a Prius. Or the Tesla owning Uber drivers know the biggest threat to their lively hood is Tesla automating them out of a job. When/if that happens, if they own

I don't hold a strong opinion myself on the matter as I have not done any deep research, but the EPA enforces the Endangered Species Act and the Wetlands Protection and Restoration. Google either of these with the phrase "Abuse of

Teaching how to write summaries in the US would be a good idea. To make things even worse, in the US most essays are assigned a minimum length so students learn to pad their writing with lots of fluff and circumlocutions.

It might be a bit because of the density, but housing is mainly cheaper near busy roads mainly because most people would prefer to live elsewhere, just like you.

"some" include the Democratic National Committee[1]. This type of action sure reinforces feelings that politics in America is gravely corrupt and some sort of reset is needed. [1] https://www.washingtonpost.com/poli

It is very hard to predict the path of an S-curve. If you don't estimate when it takes off and when it slows down just right you will be way off on your view of what will happen.

Since many services now split into two tiers with a cheaper option for no ads, maybe ads showing up in no-ads tier won't happen. There really wasn't the possibility to do that before streaming (multiple cable channels I guess coul

Check out the Cadillac Escalade. That is the Cadillac that is still used for limos and the high end models sure shoot for limo-like luxury. I have not been in one inside, so I don't know how well they hit that mark though. Not a bean s

If you can jump right to electric power, then hydro power can give you all the power you need to get civilization going again. I don't think that tech knowledge would be likely lost if people survive at all.

This is a cool project but I was hoping to see a solar powered machine that turned ore into metal. That is what a smelter is. This is a solar metal melter or what is generally called a furnace, not a smelter. Too bad.

Lots of companies doing this for awhile. I'm not sure about the rates, but you can find them by googling "best ptp loans for investors" or something like that. https://www.prosper.com/ is one, for example.
