The new default layout is exactly backwards of what I want. It should go: project tree | text editor | agent view | threads Not to mention on most laptops you'll only have room for about two panes at a time. So they should be focusing

Apple is good at hardware, they need help with software. I hope putting a hardware guy in charge can still improve this situation.

Switching back to medium seems to have fixed the issue for me.

That's what I'm wondering. Is it people are defaulting to xhigh now and that's why it feels like it's consuming a lot more tokens? If people manually set it to medium, would it be comparable?

People should. I seriously miss using it at my day job. It's not for code where type systems make things a lot more stable, but it's great for scripting and quick things. Also ORMs in ruby are truly nice, and I haven't found

That's not the point. You should be asking why DO is so much more expensive. Not everyone likes wasting money.

We need more competition across the board. These savings are insane and DO should be sweating, right?

Yea, we gotta teach kids how to use e-commerce sites, so the games should feel like Amazon.

Nothing like going from Toonami to the original Xbox while drinking a green monster. Peak childhood right there.

Broken back buttons have been one of my biggest complaints since we enabled SPAs to access the history API in the first place. I don't see it as a net win so far, but maybe a decade later we can solve it?

I think it's really naïve to realize that climate change is an existential threat to many species, but not connect that we are part of the ecosystem which is being put in danger. You are experiencing survivorship bias. Even if we don&#

I don't think you're qualified to make this assessment. If a large majority of the scientific community is treating it and calling it an existential threat, I'm tempted to agree. In fact, I think most widely held scientific s

We need a better way to sign and verify software. Clearly companies like Microsoft and Apple have not been good for the open source communities and are inhibiting innovation.

One of markdown's greatest assets is that it's basically plaintext. Can't render it to HTML, it's still very readable. This blog post makes no sense to me.

I completely agree that requests are what should be charged for. But I think there are two things, given that requests aren't all going to cost the same amount: 1. Estimate free invoicing the requests and letting users figure it out af

This is a serious problem with the fact that it's nearly impossible to understand what a "token" is and how to tame their use in a principled way. It's like if cars didn't advertise MPG, but instead something that c

Using the mod name would give it a unique name, just implicitly through the module, so I don't see the issue, unless you wanted to allow a single module to allow multiple impls of the same item. I also don't see an issue with havi
