How is the first one done? It seems like the cartons would fall faster than you could manually capture 2-3 images? (super cool all around, thanks for sharing)

AI noob question, is this like Amp? I just use Amp, I ask it to do neat stuff and it does it. I desperately need to invest in my AI skills but every day I open two new tabs and add it to "AI stuff" folder, and then go back to drow

No, it's really not, and really hasn't been. Do people truly have such poor reasoning and logic skills? "Closed source software is inscrutable, impossible for me to fix, impossible for me to review the source" is abs

You (and other folks...) should probably click-through to the bugzilla links. Yes, normally. But, it looks like some legacy code path near the XDG stuff caused an accidental extra dir creation. (I was rolling my eye wading in, thinking that

I guess I don't get the distinction? That's some Google-y Chrome-y sounding stuff if I've ever heard of it. I don't really get it. I click Install in Firefox. I get an app icon. It works, ?

Just earlier I opened 404 Media's subscribe page and was going to spend sometime after work subscribing to them, NYTimes, and maybe a couple others. It's past time I pay for some news media. This has guaranteed I will not even con

Since apparently this thread needs context, yes, you can install PWAs from Firefox on Android and I've heard it's returning to desktop. This just seems to be a way (in Chrome) to trigger the already existing PWA install flow but

Except that they did. Android has notification channels. Now, I suppose we could argue that Google could be more ham-fisted about forcing apps to use them, but that's murky. In fact, Uber on Android does use these notification channels

I guess I'm confused about Matt wanting to "right the ship" so to speak, while also shoving this through. (Idgaf, it's a product call ultimately) But it seems the clean, sustainable, long-term way to do this was to have

Why? People are referred to as committers everywhere. I like the transparency and credit this gives to the ecosystem users helping fund development. When I did OSS work paid for by my employer, I was careful to note and credit who paid for

I'm referring to what sounds like a feature of the app , not the OS... The app... already chooses what to send through the OS notification API so I really don't have any idea what scenario you're worried about. I generally s

That's the catch though. By time you're scaling, there's tension between roadway and revenue and headcount and it's the worst worst possible time to need to reachitect.

I used to handwave cloud portability. Turns out when you're shipping things and need extra services and you have deadlines, you build against the platform. I think the GP comment was probably expressing wariness of the free cloudflare

I would be curious to hear you expand on that, walk me through it, maybe a small paragraph to explain what over inclusion happened with the weird fascist, what baddies you're vaguely referring to, and connect those dots?
