Alright, I just compared it to the hack that was posted about 3 months back and this seems to be a repost of it. When it was posted back then, it was called out to be a repost of an older one. * Sigh * [1] [1] http://news.ycombinator.com

I think you meant AdWord. Adsense is for publishers. Create an Adsense account and you won't receive a single mail with a phone # listed in them. It goes somewhat like this: If you paying money, you might have luck getting a phone support b

Apart from the conspiracy theory, I found something interesting while looking through the WayBack Machine[1]. Around Nov 02, 2010 duck.com's server was compromised and the script kiddie inserted a php string onto a HTML file. Was he was rea

Since its a finance site, it should weigh the stock symbol over any description. Given that there is already a stock "MCX:SELL" that is also displayed at the autocomplete, the redirect should have gone there instead. I would like to give Go

Well the problem is that antiviruses only know about publicly identified viruses. Everytime a new virus or a variant is released, a good number of computers get infected before the virus is identified and fingerprinted. If you are met with

Omdbapi.com doesn't have the trademarked "imdb" word in their domain, they also seem to use wikipedia and freebase as their source. Similar to how "Scroogle.org" stayed away from violating Google's trademark.

Interesting, but you are not the pulling information from Imdb, according to the source code it is using omdbapi.com an independent site which used to be imdbapi.com until amazon issued them a C&D. Keep in mind OmdbApi states that it us

One of the main reasons I personally wouldn't choose Google over Amazon no matter how much they lower the price is due to the lack of a solid customer support. God forbid if something goes wrong, not only will I risk losing the Cloud accoun

So does other popular domain registrars. Eg: Namecheap: http://www.namecheap.com/legal/general/privacy-policy.aspx Scroll to "Personal Information Following Termination of Account" I think it has something to do with the ICANN rules.

You don't understand, its not the web-server, it is the client's browser that is the issue. Until SNI came out, the handshake was made and validity of the key determined even before the "Host: xyz.com" header was sent in. Without the host

That analogy is kind of flawed. If Microsoft specifically advertised 16/32GB of usable space then these arguments would have made sense. This just seems like buying 5 pound ribs at the meat section and then complaining about all the bones.

I think all it does is to block/poison ad-based domain from resolving to their respective IPs. Very low overhead and gives you the same result. You can also achieve the same thing if you have a dd-wrt installed router: http://www.howtogeek
