I can understand from a moral/business perspective that drastic changes should be avoided in new releases but how is that an abuse of monopolistic power? Would you call Ubuntu's decision to suddenly switch all the window controls

Try their main site http://prediction.io/ . It has videos and other write ups. Its still not thorough, guess you might have to install and play around with it to get a better understanding.

Here is a great read about V-Sync and how it tries to fix the disparities in refresh rates: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=928593 Contrast it with what G-Sync is trying to achieve.

Not sure if it has changed but when I was using XP, chrome and firefox were still using the SSL and TLS stacks from the OS, which meant no support for SNI. Most webpages would fail to connect at this point. Also BSOD once a month was common

Gotcha. I can relate. It took me a long time to move to Windows 7. Moved because my laptop gave up and I had to get a new one which came pre-installed with win 7. There was no point in downgrading it to XP. I admit to feeling uneasy about t

I don't think it is possible for a company as large as Google to completely avoid using Windows products. As an example, here is the video of the tour of Google's Data Center and around the 1:08 mark, you can clearly see them usin
