This is neat. I always wondered if it was possible or if anyone has made a fancy UI for instrumentation / dashboard using a game engine.

As someone who has picked up several languages through out my career - I found c# to have one of the lowest barrier to entry. IMHO, really well documented by Microsoft.

The RIM copycat keyboards are mass produced and can be bought individually for DIY projects from places like AliExpress. So if anything, RIM should go after those Chinese makers. Of course good luck to Rim

I've been using FreshRSS for a couple years. While it was fine, I found CommaFeed's display view mode options a lot better. It's right there under the user menu dropdown and allows for easy toggling between Compact, Detailed

From a political and strategic standpoint - It makes no sense for China to attempt an invasion of Taiwan in 2024. If anything, they're better off waiting to see who wins the U.S presidential election in November. Because huge policy di

Very helpful tip. Thank you! - Ran it through GS and I got 30% reduction in a 50mb pdf file. I think if I play around with some options - such as converting images to grayscale, I might be able to reduce it by another 10-20%.

Can be easily solved by adding some kind of motion sensor. Wave hand and the clock projects the time on the ceiling. Have a 10-15 second time out period to turn off the projection.

I’ve used ChatGpt to generate OpenSCAD code. Using GPT 4, it does a decent enough job to generate code for a basic shape of something as a starter.

ABLs are nice to have and printers should have them. But every so often, a manual bed level with a piece of paper goes a long way. Especially if you have a budget friendly printer.

Most likely not. Other than maybe stitch several images together in post-processing. Although not sure what use video would be on JWST. It's mostly staring at distant objects where motion wouldn't be perceivable. Unless it's

Even harder problem is getting the average user to care about things like end-to-end encryption. Let alone getting them to pay for it. Thats why services like Signal are not in the majority.
