Reading the comments in this thread one can only wonder why more manufacturers aren't targeting the Linux user market. They're missing out on so many cleverly snarky comments and discerning I-actually-prefer-ctrl-in-light-grey users that mu

The part where PHP files are essentially HTML files (ie you can start with a file consisting of "<b>hello world</b>" and add some code as you go) is where the made-for-web really shows. While obviously a bad practice, it als

I'm Israeli, former IDF soldier and unfortunately had a family member KIA a few years back. I feel I have some idea of how the IDF treats families of KIA and have followed the story since Barak Ravid's first report. Here's my feeble attempt

I wonder what caused them to do that. It doesn't seem like the regime's been pulling any punches so far, and the various YouTube evidence etc didn't seem to cause any increase in outside pressure. Why do it now?

Actually I don't disagree with your general sentiment - if I understand it correctly - that (a) cutting off the Internet is relatively minor compared to war's true atrocities and (b) the UNHRC is basically an impressive-looking name to a dy

Is there a point to this? Since the situation is vastly different in all the three places you mention, isn't this just empty relativism?
