It's about craftsmanship. It might not cause any harm, but an error message like that in this type of site just shows you don't care for your craft.

Having gone through similar Basic Training to Yossi's, I can testify it contains less jungle survival knowledge than most boyscouts pick up during their training. Basic Training is short, and most of the time is spent on elementary soldier

My thoughts exactly. If you're iterating this fast, you're pretty much doing agile, whether you follow SCRUM/XP/etc or not. As I understand it, the various agile practices are simply there to enable these quick iterations.

Why would WSJ care? Either way, the readers pay. I'm not a huge fan of Murdoch, but I respect him for insisting on the simple principle of charging money for his product, while the hyposphere keeps twitting on how he "just doesn't get it".

Python should be easier to pick up. I knew very little Python before using GAE, looking back there was hardly a learning curve. It's almost like writing pseudo-code. (Though somehow not as fun to code as Ruby, for me..)
