Taking the 2012 numbers you have at your link, the 85KW pack and 600kg, that is 6200 lb to get to 400kwh. The 2015 number on wikipedia is 540kg per 85kwh pack and the model 3 pack is supposed to be 30% more energy dense[0]. The 2015 number

Tesla doesn't publish it's costs but based on what they've said it is a reasonable estimate[0] Cells in bulk are below 150[1] 7 cents per kwh is a very common industrial rate.[2] Maybe it is a bit low but it's a lot more

I actually think the math really works out well for semis given you can burn through your battery lifespan super quick. Let's say you take two 15 minute breaks + 30 minute lunch per day. That is 1 hour of charge time. Assuming you star

Not MS but there is a project in the works for roughly that(uses same base Monaco editor). Current version of VS code does actually rely a lot on file system stuff. https://github.com/theia-ide/theia

I'm not saying they are unreasonable doses but they are definitely low as far as opioid doses go. Apart from T1/T2s you can't get lower afaik. My point is I don't see that replacing opioids in this case is really useful.

Those opioid doses are all super low, roughly equivalent to a single Tylenol 3. The alternative is a super high dose of acetaminophen. 1/4 your daily recommended maximum. At roughly 3x the acetaminophen + the fairly high dose ibuprofen

Can you just store the hydrogen? Or is it just so inefficient as to be useless? Seems like batteries to cover 95%+ of your use case then having hydrogen backup for for covering rare weather conditions might work well for off grid setups.

Has anyone seen what the promoted tweets were? Would be interesting to see which tweets got promoted. The twitter report says: "Based on our findings thus far, RT spent $274,100 in U.S. ads in 2016. In that year, the @RT_com, @RT_Amer

I wonder what the relative production cost is for the 3D Xpoint vs NAND. Given the newer state of the technology it seems like there might be more low hanging fruit in terms of performance/cost improvement. If Intel can hit a productio

I wonder what % of truck driving is highway driving? If you are covering the trucks in cameras and you have the control software there already it seems pretty easy(relatively at least) to have someone take over via remote for the last mile.

Yeah for sure. We only had to calculate 1 or 2 iterations of the game and had a random seeded array as input and preallocated array we had to populate as output so there was a lot of optimization that wasn't worth it if you were actual
