900/Mwh is 90c per kwh. Normal wholesale is about 5-7c. Retail national average is about 14. Higher cost states are around 20c with Hawaii near 30c.

Turbine manufactures have cold weather packages and deicing systems. I'd wager they don't get installed in Texas.

Huh - wow. I think I have a 1060 in my closet. I bought 2 for 100 each in 2019. Was planning to use one for GPU VM pass through and could never get it to work properly.

I said I don't know the exact relationship between RH and DTCC because it isn't public. Why would they be asking the DTCC for credit? That is absurd on the face of what collateral is there for. They can borrow money and use that f

There is almost always a cop there. I walk by pretty frequently and I can't recall seeing it open without a cop. Could be wrong - not exactly casing the joint on my lunch walks.

I'm not tuned in enough to know the exact relationship between RH and DTCC. I am tuned in enough to know there is a big difference between rolling up and asking for credit saying "Hey I've got X dollars in settled cash to buy

There are certain options you can't trade without a margin account because they are fundamentally on margin no matter what. Whether or not you can "day trade" on a cash account would probably just be equivocating about what &

I doubt there are many people on RH that wouldn't get covered fully by SIPC even in the worst case. The idea that a broker going under wipes out all its members assets is just not true. MAYBE some stuff in flight would have issues. All

Yes definitely, it would have been a total shitstorm. I think that shitstorm is preferable to allowing brokers to manipulate asset prices to protect themselves.

You really think stopping all buying and only allowing selling doesn't manipulate the price? I fully agree they were fighting to save their life. They can't handle their customer trades they should shut down until they can. Really

Saying you can only sell an asset but not buy is clearly going affect the price - regardless of the reason they did it. If a broker can't do their job they should be forced to shut down completely until they can. Its pretty clear they

Just not enough room really. Maybe(read: no) you could get 5m^2 of panels on a car. With 100% efficient panels the energy would be 5 * 1000 W m^2 = 5000 watts which is about 7 horse power. That is a bit below what a very aerodynamic car nee

At 2% efficient and 0 cost they would probably be more expensive than current when looking at total installed cost for commercial/residential, maybe even utility. You can see even at utility scale the panel prices are generally less th
