Have you been stung by an ant or stinging nettle? It's not fun.

Iosevka is also parametric, but fixed for a given TTF, as far as I can tell. Very nice for coding. https://github.com/be5invis/Iosevka

Normally reverse mode automatic differentiation is used and is called backpropagation since everything old has to have a new and shiny name in machine learning a/k/a continuous optimization ;)

Named lambdas are discouraged as un-Pythonic for what it's worth. The other point in the article was that your process has now hard-coded even and sum, and composing them in python is a bit unwieldy. I've run into a number of case

Being able to quickly change in different retry mechanisms and policies is pretty useful. Sometimes you want exponential backoff, sometimes no backoff, sometimes it depends on other state. Not as simple as you might think. And if you'r

I noticed a massive battery life improvement after removing f.lux and using night shift/night light on mac and windows. Far less stuttering as well. Whatever f.lux is doing is not worth the janky implementation.

Bosch and Siemens (and Neff) are owned by BSH, most of the european brands are also parts of conglomerates and have stratified low/medium/high end. Except for Miele, but who wants to spend 1000 quid on a washer?

Solar micro production is insanely expensive. Nobody thinks it will scale even in places like Germany where it's merely expensive. Grid scale solar is dirt cheap, to the point of being cheaper than coal, but it requires a grid. Not r
