Well the generic market only works when pay for delay and other morally bankrupt acts don't happen: https://www.ftc.gov/news-events/media-resources/mergers-comp... and it basically doesn't work with biol

Solar and wind are getting so cheap that you could feasibly overbuild to deal with low production times. And no, 30% is nowhere near the max, especially with storage

Seems to pay for itself pretty quickly for large users. The one guy who saved 90% of his helium costs probably paid for his in a year or two given the price listed

Heavy metals in thin film, mostly. Cadmium isn't great. They can be highly recycled though. Nevertheless, if a storm destroys a bunch of panels lots of cadmium will be dispersed

Their last round valued the company at $600MM, so anyone with options at that strike isn't going to make any money.

Presumably they were accelerated/repurchased out for $0? Replaced by ... what exactly? As a giphy employee what do you get out of the acquisiton beyond maybe some job security?

Awesome! Would be cool to see the extension in non-flat spaces as well, like geometry with a low "speed of light". Clifford algebras can handle that too.

Data isn't insight. More metrics isn't more better. Most of these metrics are incommensurable across teams, people, projects...counterproductive to expose them. They aren't even robust to gaming.

I believe it's equivalent to working in a basis that diagonalizes the matrix rather than working in the standard one. Much easier to work with.

Interestingly the I_c(t) cumulative cases is all you need to solve the SIR model. S is an exponential decay of that, R is linearly proportional, and I ends up being the difference of the population N and (S+R) based on the S+I+R = N relatio

For good reason as it has a "narrow therapeutic margin" i.e. too much will kill you, too little will do nothing/breed resistance. Regulations are written in blood.
