Linkedin profiles are one way for you to get feedback from people that actually worked with someone. You might find the guy who seemed awkward and nervous in the interview was always very helpful to the rest of his teammates. You might lear

An API failing intermittently like that would be a nightmare for anyone trying to debug the situation.

It seems PG is thinking backwards on this. Instead of fixing the bad _causes_ of inequality we should try to fix the bad _consequences_ of inequality.

Seems pretty unreasonable to me. It's pretty obvious that the DNC would not have taken access away from Clinton if the situation were reversed.

The previous person was talking about pooled ridesharing. In my case car pooling was only convenient when going to work. It was much harder to coordinate the afternoon/evening trip home. Services like Uber make it a lot easier for 3-4

I don't think you understand. If you join my startup team and spend one weekend working on it and then disappear for a year while everyone else keeps working then you didn't build even 1/2% of the effort. Anyone that thinks a

The only problem is that Bobby doesn't provide and emails and slack conversations until after things started to go sideways. It's like people have forgotten that anyone can cherry-pick evidence to put themselves in the best light.

People would go because they understand that their weekend of work is not worth 10% equity in a 10M company. If you really think a weekend of coding is worth something then why would you go now? It allows complete strangers to join your tea

It doesn't really index your financial stability. It indexes your history of paying bills on time. People in debt that make regular payments are much better customers than people that don't need to use debt.

I've never seen an agile article recommend rote meetings taking 50% of the week. Anyone even remotely interested in agility would call that an anti-pattern. I don't think it's a case of organizations blindly cargo-culting, bu

Every developer has a different idea of what complex code means. Cyclomatic complexity is one metric, but vastly different code could have the same score. Sometimes we have to trade simplicity for flexibility, speed, or other goals. The ide

Why is it obvious? Many goods and services are sold discounted for pennies on the dollar. I might have thought it was a pricing error or I might have thought it was some sort of bizarre Danish Groupon-esque marketing ploy. bookingbuddy.com

Seems like an exaggerated straw man. I don't see how anyone could reasonably stretch a one-liner into 6. But yeah - "dense" is an adjective that I try to avoid when coding. Code should be clean, simple, and easy to read.
