Must be a regional thing, I've never heard of that. It sort of makes sense when you consider there is a flat rate for each tranasction.

The title isn't "don't overuse black," it's "never use black." Black is an unappealing colour to look at.

Yeah, flag this title. It's not even clickbait, it's just a lie.

Safari uses different cookie jars for each private tab. Chrome uses different jars for each private window. (I believe.)

Very true, but you can start with the egregious violations such as AMP.

A browser extension could be made pretty easily. If you have a terminal open, do `echo mymasterpassword facebook.com | shasum -a 256 | pbcopy`.

That connotation seems obvious but I didn't pick up on it until months after I heard about CockroachDB. For one, a minority of people who know about cockroaches know about their resilience. For two, people who _do_ know that still kn

No it isn't. Does your web browser do more than browse web pages? Then it's bloated. When you can log in your browser, start asking questions.

Firefox is just as bloated but at least it's extensible (for now.) Web "extensions" are Firefox' suicide.

CDNs are a lie. The privacy implications outweigh the performance benefits since there are many, many, many CDNs and many, many versions of jQuery. It's rare for users to benefit from caching.

What a dumb comment. "A day without JavaScript" is to websites as "A day without a CPU" is to paper books. Documents are not software.
