Wow! This is seriously cool. Speaking of augmenting our sensory capabilities, has there ever been any work done on making hearing a voluntary sense? Always-on hearing had some evolutionary advantage in the past but it may be an interesting

The Moral Animal - by Robert Wright It delves into evolutionary psychology to explain human morality. I especially liked the discussion on monogamy (the parental investment theory). A few more recommendations:- Godel, Escher, Bach Human Kno

Yodlee MoneyCenter was a surprising discovery for me. Sure, I had head of them because of Mint, but I didn't know that they supported most Indian banks. I've been using them for some time and quite satisfied with it.

I think the article made it clear that IPv4 is running out of addresses DESPITE using NAT heavily. As far as reclaiming large A blocks is concerned, I read somewhere that we are exhausting addresses equivalent to an A-class block in 5 weeks

If we broadcast or even recorded the talks, the speakers would clam up. How about anonymizing it by removing the names of the startups/founders before publishing ?

But it doesn't cost Intel more to produce the high-end chip. In fact, maintaining two fabrication lines will cost more than producing a single chip and disabling the premium features. So I don't think "artificially increasing prices" applie

This is a great comment. Thank you. In startups, typically the founders have to play the product manager role - their biggest responsibility being converting the ad-hoc complaints/feature requests into a workable product roadmap. PMs must h

Not just that. You also end up with the knowledge that those 2 paths were actually dead-ends. It's important to know solutions that will NOT work.

I have been thinking about this for a while. Not the app, but the fact that book summaries would be really useful. Most books tend to be too verbose. Care to elaborate a little on your idea for the app?

Surprisingly, there is very little discussion happening on this topic on Indian tech forums like pluggd.in or medianama.com. Overall, the Indian government's main concern is about the impact on the generic pharmaceuticals industry. I hope o
