If that works for you, then that's cool. Personally, I don't want to think about environments, and it's weird that python is the only language that has venvs. Having a tool that handles it completely transparently to me is

I guess I don't see what the problem is? If someone says a particular word or phrase is problematic for them, no one can tell them they're wrong. You cannot dictate how other people respond to language, and it's really weird

Flask's request context is a global object. And since this is specifically about web services, flask seems highly relevant to the conversation.

True. Sometimes they hunt for the Titanic. Do you also assume all black SUVs with tinted windows are drug smugglers? Because it's the same level of evidence. ie: it isn't.

Yes, I doubt. The US intelligence has invented intelligence plenty of times in the past, and I absolutely do not trust that particular shadow branch of ICE. Even if what they say is true, destroying boats with people on them without proof i

And we're ok with murdering dozens of people that might maybe have some kind of drugs on them? In peacetime? Without evidence? Outside of our own territory/water? We're lucky Venezuela hasn't attacked us back yet.

There's three names in that title, and none of them are explained in the tiny slice of an article that's free. Am I expected to just know who these random people are?

That's a strange mindset, IMO. I'd be pissed if I had to pay $0.10 every time I turned a rachet, and it's weird to expect companies to have usage-based monetization on the tools they've made for others.

That feels like a bit of rewriting the past. How could someone plan on stealing valuables from somewhere across the ocean... before they know there even is an "across the ocean" to get to? It also feels quite off to reduce all of

Why must there be a NEED? Why did we ever send ships across the ocean to explore? Where was the need? People like doing science, and so we're doing science.

Most artists don't make enough, though? Isn't that famously well known? Picasso was never rolling in it, burned his paintings to stay warm, and had trouble even eating.
