Thank you kindly for the idea, Qohen. I will give it a shot. I just wrote a rather nasty comment about Amazon on this thread but hopefully whoever reads it may understand the sentiment. :)

Also to further your point into existential territory. I remember hearing Elizabeth Warren saying her plan was to break up BigTechCo's and thinking to myself about how ridiculous it is and how she's totally pointing her guns in th

No kidding. With how smart they are and all the AI that goes on behind the scenes, I don't understand why I continue to get notifications when friend X 'adds to their story'. I have never once watched anyone's story. And

Why would you need to run wasm in a serviceworker? I thought wasm was most practical as bytecode in a client for things like games and such.

Haha this is so interesting. Is this a phenomenology that has been studied or has been classified? I assume the wasp will continue infinitely, at least, until some other stimuli takes greater precedence, like getting tired for example. I do

It surprises me that people could claim that the inverse would ever be true. As in, why would the default be to assume that animals are not conscious? Claiming that consciousness is unique to humans seems like quite a high-horse proposition

It's a function of the propagation of technology. Everything is automated, and all code is not equal. If you're to figure out some way to steal money electronically from your bank, and there is no defensive code in place, how will

Ugh! Absolutely. The 30 year mortgage as a product was born out of the Great Depression. Back then, home ownership was the main path to wealth, but there was no liquidity in the housing market and bullet loans were reamortized every 5 years
