I don't even get the "paid sick days" thing. In Germany you have a minimum of 20 days off by law, most of the time it is > 30 though. If you are sick you are sick, you go to a doctor who will give a paper that states how l

What I don't understand is... when this data is oh so important, where is the backup?

What I still don't understand is how companies like MaxMind (basically a fraud rating based on IP addresses and some other criteria that is mixed together) or the german Schufa (credit rating) are still able to operate under GDPR. But

I don't understand why such a simple site requires JS to work.

For me personally Rails for the backend and web frontend. React Native for the Mobile Apps. If you have experience with a specific stack and are or were happy with it then you should take that one.

Don't put any high load on Lightsail or it will throttle hard.

So you want to open source the idea and whole software that you are being paid to write? I would never ever hire you, alone for coming up with such an idea.

I was there several times and it was just not interesting, like at all. Even from a business perspective there was nothing to do. When they changed some things to make it more attractive in 2018 they simply made it even worse. Not surprised

GHz doesn't matter anyways. In general nothing matters since threads can be individually throttled without you noticing (apart from declining performance). See my Lightsail review: https://www.karoly.io/amazon-lightsail

I don't understand what gender has to do with Entrepreneurship. > Research shows that women face unique challenges in technology, especially when starting and leading companies. Which research? They don't even link to a source

I doubt that's the reasoning, but even if they could've made it slightly larger. No one cares if their mini is 5mm larger on one side.

I think the form factor is great. The argument that there is no room for a dedicated GPU is imo simply false. If a mobile VEGA fits in a MBP it will fit in a Mac Mini chassi. Apple decided against it, for whatever reason and that is the onl

For me that's not the case. I am operating my own mail server for years now and am only sending maybe 10-20 emails per day. I own my own IP ranges though and make sure they are super clean.

Why would VSCode be clearly the winner? I prefer Atom, VSCode is not even "200%" better, since most of it is personal preference. Such bold claims without even providing one argument.
