I was part of a student exchange with Sweden. This is just an anecdotal experience but if that is what 4 on the mobility list looks like then they got something horribly wrong. I enjoyed many aspects of the country, but prosperous and hig

That doesn't seem right to me, I am seeing $15B net income in 2023 alone. What am I missing.

I do hate the direction Windows is going. That said as someone who also uses Linux / macOS I just use group policy to disable all of this and do not notice any of it, even across major version updates.

I mean, there are a lot of tasks that frontier models excel at which many humans wouldn't be able to complete.

Is it really a foundation model if it is for a specific purpose?

Some banks allow you to create separate limited read only credentials at least that can be revoked at any time. But not all of them allow this.

You can manipulate demand by increasing/decreasing the supply of capital. Cheap interest rates, stimulus checks, government deficit spending, etc...

I'm not saying you are wrong but personally I'd view the stock as an attractive perk right now since it is so low. Whereas if I were joining a company such as Nvidia I'd honestly be kind of worried. Historical performance isn

No, price gouging is taking advantage of short term manipulations in supply and demand. If this happened during the pandemic then you might have a case. However what we are seeing now are long term, permanent changes to demand due monetar

Markets finding the price which balances supply and demand is not price gouging. Demand went up because it was suppressed during the pandemic and there was also extra savings in the economy (due to saving during the pandemic + stimulus and

I was responding to the parent who also made no distinction that the loan was solely for personal purposes.

I do not see in the article where it says the loan has to be used for personal expenses. In fact from what I can tell it just says unrealized gains will be taxed regardless of whether a loan is taken out or not. The loan example is just

For many small businesses, that is false. Sole proprietorships and pass through LLCs are extremely common.

So small business can't take out loans unless they can realize and be taxed on the full valuation of their company immediately? As much as I can appreciate the goal, this is absurd.

So if you argue that we already can't enforce existing tax laws then why is proposing new, extremely expensive and difficult to enforce tax laws the solution?

That's not a loophole, it is illegal. You can't deduct personal expenses from a business. I realize the rich do it, but if that is the problem let's go after that. Also if you sell stocks you always pay tax on the capital g

I mean, you have to pay the loans back. Which requires income which is taxed. This would only work if you either don't spend any money (which then what is the point of the loan) or if your assets are always going up and increasing in

Windows 10 was fantastic. Unfortunately some nice features (maybe critical depending on your needs) are limited to Windows 11 only. Such as WiFi 6e/7 support and WSL 2 graphics/cuda support.

I'm really not happy tbh. Android started out as a relatively open thriving open OS/ecosystem. It's since evolved into something much different due to Google and it's objectives. It's also just plain not realistic
