Would it make a difference if it was physical dimension? Wouldn't you simply be asking the same question?

That's not entirely true though. Netflix had to be prepared to provide that service. Meaning they needed to be able to have the capacity to serve the videos if necessary. Some times just having that capacity has a cost in and of its

I guarantee you there are very few on the planet whose time management is so strict that spending 30 minutes a month to review their finances would cut into any of those activities.

That is a really interesting alternative history you have there...

You can't look at one area of the economy in isolation. It's all intertwined. The people creating digital goods still need food, shelter, and housing. Things that are not post-scarcity.

Some of the micro-masters courses are extremely good as well, and I took them for free. You don't have to get the credential.

That's the problem, it's just search. If search was the answer, Google would of achieved AGI long ago. The problem is there's no intelligence. In some situations it can find semantically similar content, but that's it

Funded by governments and run by the government are vastly different things.

That's my entire point. The government created this situation. It wasn't always like this in aviation/aerospace.

We should not be nationalizing anything, sorry. The government should not be running companies as it takes away all natural market forces. While private ownership can be corrupt, market forces / competition can keep it in check. If

I feel like exchange rate doesn't tell you the whole story. If relative income is lower in Japan then items might be priced lower to accommodate the market.

To be fair, I've had similar things happen to my relatives with the iOS and Android app stores as well. Installed some random 3rd party app instead of what they wanted because it looked convincing.

Change is often painful. But if the thought is that these AI models will just be forgotten about because of a few court decisions then I'd imagine they are in for a rude awakening. It's time to adapt, not dig your heels in.

AI is a superset of ML, and calling it AI is perfectly acceptable by academic and industry standards regardless of your personal feelings about it.

I don't necessarily think it needs to be government run. The best schools in America are private. Ironically government support (the federal student loan system) is imo largely responsible for crazy high tuition in the U.S. Maybe the

Agreed but there is a lot more ML out there than just LLMs. You can't solve everything with prose.

Yes I just made that swap. But it's been almost a decade since the last time I had to swap all 3. I did however get to keep my graphics card, case, power supply, cooling system (liquid), and SSDs (3 x 4TB).

It's most definitely not a myth. I upgrade a component or two every year around Black Friday. This same machine has been evolving for a decade and many spare parts have been handed down to family members.

I rely on Mozilla just fine. Have used Firefox for a decade and will continue to do so. I am not about to accept Google as the sole provider of the web like you are so eager to do.
