I played around with Azure and Heroku for node.js hosting and found that Azure wasn't as painful to setup and didn't trip up as often as Heroku (though my statement should be read as more of a criticism of Heroku than an endorsement of Azur

I think the voting at https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=5628769 has slowed down now and we can safely conclude that it is still a majority (albeit not as strong as it was in the first few years of HN)

The exact ranking is somewhat arbitrary, but the rankings do generally put the schools most people consider as "top schools" at the top. Comparable schools have somewhat similar rankings. But at the end of the day, the education is only as

I don't disagree, but the entire process is pretty subjective (there are many variables to take into account, and weights are somewhat arbitrary). USNWR provides a concrete list for the discussion and I think the top 20 captures the spirit

I attended/am attending a university that is not ranked 1-20 in the aforementioned categories but would be considered in the top 100 * NOTE for posterity: this was added 35 minutes after the poll was created.

I attended/am attending one of the top 20 universities according to US News and World Report rankings (http://colleges.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-colleges/rankings/national-universities) -- the Ivies and other usual suspects
