Bitbucket recently has shockingly poor reliability. Quite often you see nothing on the status page but see other people having issues on twitter. We've nearly migrated everything to github, plus github has better features and more powe

I understand where you are coming from, but for me the issue is more about affordable housing. It's basically gentrification of an area and forcing poor people out. I cannot remember by law how much % of a development has to be deemed

I pretty much got rid of my bash scripts and just replaced them using shelljs. Makes it a lot easier and quicker to maintain, it means any developer can jump in fix it and add to it.

It's amazing how government comes around in a circle. There was DERA(Defence Evaluation and Research Agency) which the government pretty much privatised by spinning it off as Qinetiq For me the issue is they intend to invest into &#x27

I believe the UK contract is along the lines of "once you've met our order, you can ship UK made vaccines elsewhere" If the EU commission used their head, the sooner this was met they'd get it sooner and MORE vaccines.

NoSQL, I always understand it as Not Only SQL. At our place we use MongoDB (Main store), SQL, Big Query, Redis, ElasticSearch, then we also store data in S3 that we don't want to query or have the cost of storing in the DB. Pick the ri

I do wonder what atlassian do some days with their cloud offerings. I find they tend to muck about with the UI more than fixing bugs or new features. I tend to find we have downtime with pipelines a lot as well. Jira is ok, it can be slow.
