Doesn't this mean if '/admin/factory_reset' normally requires authentication, requesting '/admin/factory_reset?_=graphic/' would bypass this without the need for custom headers...

> The source is free, so it's a great way to see what Haskell looks like when used for large applications in the hands of experts. I tend to disagree with this. Yes, GHC is a large application and most certainly developed by experts

Haskell devs need to be polite and considerate, otherwise GHC slaps them during the next 'cabal build' run with some hairy type errors. You really don't want that to happen twice. (Just kidding, I love GHC and its precise &am

That's not an extreme case at all, I'd even argue RWS(T) (or its 'manual' version) is a very common stack. As an example, I use RWST in Kontiki, my implementation of the Raft consensus protocol, where the R part contains

I recently changed our Jenkins CI infrastructure to use something like this: all jobs run in their own LXC container, using BTRFS and its snapshots/clones instead of AUFS. Works like a charm! The script is available at https://github.com/I

We created Arakoon ( http://arakoon.org ) in-house to solve a real distributed systems problem. At small engineering scale (only a handful of contributors), using (Multi-)Paxos.

Lack of consistency guarantees in most systems available in the open is the exact reason why we created Arakoon: our usage scenarios (safekeeping metadata for large-scale storage systems, among others) simply don't allow for 'eventual consi

It struck me the author runs his apps as root (in screenshots). But then I remembered he's using node.js to handle "thousands of concurrent connections".

Why would CSP be 'synchronous'? There's a difference between how things appear (API) and how the implementation works: it's certainly possible to have an API which looks synchronous, yet everything is async at runtime. Think about Haskell's
