Went diving last vacation and my Ultra 2 turned into an excellent dive computer (after paying $10 for one month of the corresponding app). The equivalent watch from Garmin is much more expensive.

So what is a "fair market" then? Also "well governed"?! Free markets on the other hand have already devised pretty effective ways to measure value and allocate resources.

Welcome to America, where companies know they can fire easily so they hire easily. Strong competition between employers benefits employees. That is why salaries in the USA are so much higher than those in Europe. But hey, at least we’re not

Chains have whole departments dedicated to compliance. They chew through any new regulation you throw at them. I get my groceries from a tiny neighbor market here in Eastern Europe. Usually from women of surrounding villages. Their main wor

The consumer learns very quickly what they like. Eat a good tomato, you’ll look for one next time. The local fruit shop was even a joke in Seinfeld, I believe. The closing of the small grocery store and producer can be mostly attributed to

The only way GDPR is unambiguous is if you interpret it in the strictest sense. Which we actually did - you truly have to, in a business-hostile place like the EU. For example, consider IP addresses as PII. (This is of course not clearly sp
