Who else other than the manufacturer would you expect to provide such an app? The app does not scan in the background and will only display "airtags" that are in "lost mode".

You do realize the drone needs to be powered on and 'armed'/flying while tethered to their software that's running on an internet connected device for any location data to be available? I wouldn't expect DJI to prov

DJI also sends data to US GOVT agencies as required by law. To label any company "bad" simply because of their compliance to law is a rather self-limiting view.

Interesting idea, congrats on putting it all together. Do you have any working examples of the end result? The landing page only had a few screen shots and it was not entirely clear to me what the results looked like. Are users able to exp

Excellent work, thanks for sharing. I did notice an issue where transcoding will fail if the filename chosen contains a space, the transcoding will fail with 'file not found'.

I would hardly consider blindly trusting a third party like cloudflare to be over-engineering.

Indeed.. While it could be seen as "sad", I see it as refreshing.. Someone saw someone else struggling and had an idea to try to help. What will you do about that sadness?

I would say it's not. To me, multi-tasking implies you're completing a task, you have a set goal in mind with a series of steps or focused work required to achieve the goal or end result of the task.

I would exercise caution doing that. If the accounts are created from the same infrastructure (IP, computer, mobile device), they are easily associated and can be swept up in a ban.

I used to lease 4 42U cabinets at a Tier-1 datacenter in Phoenix. Datacenters are cold, loud, lonely places. If you're just looking to host a few small VMs, it doesn't make sense to go through the trouble of racking up a machine.
