So it's been a week. I have not noticed any issues with Firefox. I didn't even adjust this setting. Everything is a lot smoother now than it was about 3-4 years when I last tried, even with the same hardware. Happily using Firefox

Yep and losses are only losses when it's realized. A billionaire can just ride out the crash for 5, 10 or 15 years while investing more when the market is near the bottom. What they are investing in is buying the shares that the middle

As far as I know the stock market has winners and losers. If you're not rich but invested whatever you could over the course of your life and now the market tanks to where you've lost half (or more) of what you had then someone el

My machine is 10 years old. With Firefox video playback on YouTube is choppy even at 1080p. With Chrome it's perfectly smooth. If Firefox performed better for me I would have switched to it long ago. This is on Windows 10 btw.

I really like turning legacy code into non-legacy code. It feels like getting to solve a mystery. For example, maybe there's really crazy hard to follow code and the person who wrote it left a decade ago and there's no tests so it

For #4 (divide and conquer), I've found `git bisect` helps a lot. If you have a known good commit and one of dozens or hundreds of commits after that is bad, this can help you identify the bad commit / code in a few steps. Here&#x

One thing the article doesn't mention is how you can use indirect expansion to get a list of all keys. For example: `${!myvar[@]}` would list all of the keys. I've written about associative arrays in Bash a bit here: https:/
