And they also remove far more problems. In fact they are far simpler then PWRs. It is far, far, far easier to design a reactor to withstand high temperature and corrosion then operating a reactor under gigantic amount of pressure.

Most next generation reactors already are high temperature. All the major companies at the forefront of reactor commercialization have high temperature reactors. The optimal today for a reactor is having one reactor with output X and then a

I actually think this technology can be perfect in combination with new nuclear power. FlibeEnergy hopes to use it, and I know the other vendors are not planning to use it, but if it came about they would love it.

Fighting in the Middle East is not great power conflict. Fighting in the Middle East is evidence of a broken political process, not an inevitable outcome of Offensive Realism.

That logic doesn't work with current court interpretation of Anti-Trust. Read Judge Richard Posner on modern Anti-Trust law. Its not the late 1800s where it was basically politicians driving Anti-Trust train.

SpaceX destroyed the main funding for their space agency. Raptor 1 is already better then any Russian engine along most metrics. And Rogozin is a journalist made oligarch, he doesn't know shit. Accusing Elon of not being an expert is q

I have long argued that dropping the Russians from this program is the only way to go. The Russians have turned into a hindrance. Every error that happens is a conspiracy. When one of their workers drilled a whole into their spacecraft they

Fighting in the Middle East is literally the exact opposite of what Neorealists believe. John Mearsheimer opposed to these idiotic middle east wars and has been for a long time.

I think its kind of like when in Clojure, you only activate validation on the boundaries of your program in production, and disable the validation in the internals of the program. Because a factory would still test its input, or the input w

SpaceX does produce an engine in 48 hours. This is nonsense. If anything their goal is to have a production line that finishes an engine every 48 hours. The engine from start to finish still takes month to produce. ULA would not have wanted
