Just in case you've not thought or knew about it, have you tried using folder symlinks on macOS? Might be an answer to those situations where you have to have files in a special folder or its subfolder, but unfortunately will require s

Hyper-V supports nested virtualization (only Hyper-V nested inside th Hyper-V, though), and seeing as VirtualBox supports a Hyper-V virtualization backend, the solution may be to just find and fix all the bugs in that backend code when unde

I tended to agree with this, but really with the desktop setup you have to move your eyes and head much farther to see the keyboard because the monitor is not fixed to it. This may be why they don't produce keyboards with the touchbar

I'm also amazed that so many aspects of our lives are created from stuff that we extract from Earth instead of building a sustainable and renewable source of it. Oil is used in everything from asphalt that we lay on roads to polymers i

I think, this situation is the same as when you tell people to "vote with your wallet" as to not spend money on the inferior product when the issue is clearly far beyond where people can freely decide this. Edit to add: Not defend

I've taken part in some WPF application development and I think there are some benefits in immediate-mode rendering of the UI. Particularly when the UI changes faster than a monitor refresh rate or there's too much data complexity

If you haven't already, look into spring-loaded or hydraulic articulating mounts for your monitors. MountIt makes cheap stuff that's pretty good for the money. Saves so much desk space and the monitor can be very easily moved out

So it looks like what you argue is that without UBI some people are forced to work the shitty low paying jobs that more secure people would pass on, and that's beneficial to society? So basically wage slavery of the lower income people

I don't intend to dispute this claim. In fact, it's still correct. And I'm biased, I've got a Samsung phone. Still, opinion improved a bit when my S8+ got a march 2019 update which upgraded it to Android 9.0 (phone shipp

They were talking about this change in 2017, and actually said it will come in 2018,so they kind of actually took too long to implement this. That said, I'd say the Store is not breaking any records. It looks like their reaction to tha

The problem in my opinion is that in the past they would effectively shift performance down one SKU on each generation, and at the top you could get a 30% upgrade in performance for the same kind of money. Like the 980 Ti to 1080 Ti for exa
