We just have to do what the phone manufacturers did for the mobile phone connectivity. GSM was a huge hit thanks to interoperability.

In Sweden the new standard is 40 or 30. So 45 is above the limits in most cities and towns.

I think you missed parent's point. There are constructs that the current compiler can't prove is correct and to write such code you need unsafe. It is often not about a trade-off between speed/safety.

Why are they generating new GPG keypairs for every identity? This is an honest question. I've been curious if there are any benefits to having multiple keypairs over just one keypair and multiple uids. Also IMO the proper way to use GP

And your point is that it would be better to write pre/postprocessing logic in the build system? That sounds like a recipe for disaster and slow build times.

I think Rust fans here at HN appreciate some ammunition when convincing other people that Rust is great!

You don't have to allow cars to go on the same lanes as buses. In Europe it is very common with separate bus lanes.

Having enough money for housing and food is not "everything". People will always want more and this will drive them to work. They will just be a little bit more secure and happy.

I've heard this excuse many times but it doesn't make sense to me. Zürich (with excellent public transport) for example has a densitiy of 4700/km2[1] and many areas / cities in US have an even higher density[2]. [1]: ht

r#for is really "for". The reason is backwards compatibility. Rust 2018 may have new keywords which can be used for symbol names in 2015 crates. So to be able to reference such symbols from a 2015 crate in a 2018 crate you need th
