I've been working on putting my PhoneGap/Famo.us knowledge into a consumable form. I hope this "playbook" (with the sample apps and examples) can be useful some folks who are building apps! It is still a WIP on both the

I totally disagree; I absolutely loved the elementary school science fair approach. You could actually engage with the teams behind every interesting project, and skip past all the usual 2-3 minute bland, boring on-stage pitches from bleary

This is wonderful! I see immediate use cases for drop-in username highlighting, without additional templating or '<span>' + username + '</span>' spaghetti.

While the content is great, this was one of the worst experiences I've ever had trying to navigate and read content. I love the concept, but the UX and the answers to "what do I click on, where do I look" were horribly confus

Why email it to me though? If all you need to essentially recreate the private key is this tidbit you've emailed me (plaintext, available to anyone), plus the (potentially compromised) tidbit on your server... What am I missing? Shamir

I'm concerned that I get the following email after signup: "P.S. The passphrase you wrote down earlier is the secret key that gives you access to your username and profile. We don't have a copy of this key, so if you lose it,

Can you embellish a bit, perhaps enlighten us as to why you continue to use your TI-89? How do you think it compares to this, decidedly different, option? My apologies if you accidentally posted that comment before finishing your thought, b

I love the concept, but I'm surprised at the (IMO) low pricing. How much time are you (or are you outsourcing too) spending on a $19 task?

Don't apologize to just Matt, you're pseudo-apology and better-sent-as-an-email question pissed me off. Why would you take up three extra lines with a BS platitude and a signature? Please keep a personal request for assistance to

I'd agree that there are use cases where it works. For example: if I wanted to send my roommate a password over email, this would be great because the message content would be gone, and I don't care about headers and timestamps. B

If the recipient's email client automatically downloads the image the first time and makes it always-available to the user, wouldn't that break GhostMail's promise? While Gmail/Hotmail/etc. may not do this now, is t

Been working on this for about 9 months, just reached a release candidate. Love to hear what anybody thinks of the (admittedly short) video and screenshots.

Amazing technology aside, this is a pretty disappointing API release from a developer standpoint. Basically no access to Glass's amazing hardware, nor any way to receive user input other than a swipe/tap on the side? I'm really hoping it ge

If anyone is interested, I am working on a startup in this area (email+webooks). I'd love to see more thoughts on how email (both content of, and infrastructure around) can be extended and improved.

Great competitor to Docusign's ink product, or gmail extension. Nice to see competition here; making it less painful to close contracts is helpful!

Have you tried using the new(ish) Google Drive feature that lets you upload an attachment to Drive, then get a public link for the file that you can email to someone?

Thanks! Both those guys are fantastic tools, but leave a lot to be desired as far as permissions (all, not partial) and extensibility. As front-end apps for emailbox are open code, so anybody could quickly make an email app.
